Sam started at West Salem Veterinary Clinic in 2017 as a Veterinary Technician Assistant and has loved every minute of it! She attended Rochester Technical College and has a certification in Barn Management.

Sam is enthusiastic about most aspects of her job but really enjoys assisting in wound repair and anything involving an abscess. Sam is always striving to learn more from her coworkers and her patients alike - reveling in new ways of fear-free restraint, surgical assisting and anesthesia.

When she's not working, you can find Sam hunting or enjoying the outdoors in any way possible. Sam has two cats, Jasmine and Nala and 1 dog, Piper, a wild little mixture of Border collie and Mountain Cur with whom she enjoys coyote hunting.
