Ally graduated from UW Madison in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. She went on to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2019, joining the team at West Salem Veterinary Clinic shortly thereafter. Although Ally worked almost exclusively with horses and other large animals during her time at school, working with companion animals turned out to be second nature to her!
Ally is often found cuddling patients, and isn't afraid to lay on the floor to get down to a dog's level. She has a laugh that reverberates throughout the clinic and her happy-go-lucky attitude helps to connect her with the dogs and cats she sees throughout the day. Growing up on a farm surround by neighboring farms, Ally was taught from a young age to care for and respect animals. In her eyes, the compassion shown to all species, both healthy and struggling, was unparalleled.
In her free time, Ally can be found spending time with her fiance Derek and step-daughter Lacey, running (often with her Husky, Axel), hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
